At the beginning, let us wish you a merry Christmas, in the circle of your loved ones. At the same time, we wish you good luck, good health and work as well as personal success to the New Year 2021.

We believe that the year 2020, despite its challenges, you managed successfully. It was not an easy year, marked by insecurity, instability and safety as well as health concerns.

Political tensions, the polarization of society in Europe, the United States and the rest of the world, instead of harmonization, created not only economic unrest but also physical violence. Export / import restrictions, sanctions, financial instability, instability of demand and, in particular, the unpredictability of political will have significantly affected business activities and their future prospects. Interviews with our business partners show that uncertainty for these reasons limits the development of their business activities, which we fully agree with, and as carriers who perceive the demand for services, we also objectively confirm.

In 2020 AdEK SK s.r.o. worked with more than 130 new business partners and received more than 1900 orders. During the provision of transport services to our business partners.

But perhaps the biggest debate has been about the worldwide coronavirus pandemic COVID-19. Restrictions, permits, disinfection, tests, laws and measures ... these were probably the most used words of 2020. Pandemic, which tested all kinds of business, it had direct and indirect effects on transport. In particular, the onset of the corona crisis, the closing of borders and companies, changing measures every minute, the fear of drivers and their families.

Nevertheless, we have been able to launch electronic delivery of documents and electronic invoices since May. By the end of the year, more than 100 business partners had agreed to electronic delivery. In addition to saving time for delivery, electronic invoicing simplifies the sharing of information and documents for our business partners and also saves physical space for archiving.

We have also updated the wording of the Transport Regulations and the Forwarding Regulations so that they are in maximum compliance with the applicable legislation across the European Union.
